Royal International Miss and her delegates were shining diamonds on the stage as they celebrated their 10th Anniversary

Over 375 international, state, and regional titleholders ventured to Orlando, Florida, in celebration of the ten-year diamond anniversary of the international finals of Royal International Miss and Royal International Miss Role Model. At the conclusion of an exciting week filled with competitions and parties, fourteen queens would be crowned on the diamond anniversary stage and join the Royal International Miss sisterhood.

A Royal Arrival

As the Glamour Lifestyle Industry roared back to the stage and with optional social distancing protocols in place, the diamond celebration jubilee began with the arrival of the Royal International Miss delegates, families and supporters. First on the agenda would be registration, then initial rehearsals for the divisions of Princess, Sweetheart, Pre-Teen, Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss, and Ms. of Royal International Miss and Royal International Miss Role Model.

Celebrating 10 Years of Royalty

The first day of any international world-class event is hectic as everyone discerns their individual competition schedule and learns the geography of the venue, but in true Royal International Miss fashion, the first gala of the week started with the Queen’s Reception Birthday Celebration in honor of the ten-year anniversary event. Then, a quick trek to the ballroom for Talent run-throughs for many of the delegates.

For those celebrating the diamond anniversary, Royal International Miss has both required and optional competitions for the illustrious titles and awards. Required competitions are Interview/Introduction, Fashion Wear, and Evening Gown. Optional competitions may consist of Royal Top Model, Purple Passion, Talent, Casual Wear, Photogenic, State Wear, Fitness, and many more, providing delegates the ultimate opportunity to showcase their versatility, passions and community service to others.

Competition Commences

Competitions began in earnest bright and early the next morning with varying divisions clamoring to the stage for Rehearsal, Role Model Interviews, Royal Top Model Photoshoot, Casual Wear, Spokesmodel, Purple Passion presentations, (a Royal International Miss exclusive whereby delegates model an ensemble of their choice in the color purple), State Wear, and several of the Optional Competitions. At the end of the day, it was time to relieve any stress and experience the Royal Carnival Party!

Judgement Day

With the week progressing, another action-packed day arrived with many of the aforementioned competitions, as well as the required initial introduction to the judges during the Interview and Personal Introduction phases of Royal International Miss. Additionally, it was a day for many to showcase their artistic expression through Talent. With numerous delegates in attendance, the accompanying ballrooms were in full use for the required and optional phases of competition. Then everyone enjoyed a restful night visiting with family and newfound sisters.
