Ms. United States - Lauren Wanger, representing Florida in the national Ms. United States Pageant in Las Vegas, captured the crown and was named Ms. United States 2007. Lauren graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with highest honors and obtained her dual masters degree from Long Island University in both social studies and special education. Living in New York, she pursued her music and modeling career, and recorded her EP album titled "Feel It Coming" in 2005. Most recently, her song "Famous" was featured in a motion picture soundtrack. Lauren wrote her first book, "How To Stay fit on the College Meal Plan and Avoid the Freshman Fifteen." As a seventh grade Government and Economics teacher in Boca Raton, Florida, Lauren has chosen "Building Better Lives for Children" as her platform for the year.
