The Competitive Image is conveniently nestled in downtown Dothan, Alabama, where “Southern hospitality” is much more than a phrase, it is a way of life. Having been established in 2000, The Competitive Image offers one-stop shopping for the truly competitive pageant contestant. From swimsuits and interview attire to cocktail dresses and evening gowns, our practice is to “know” each individual customer and to provide custom wardrobe services that will ensure her success. Our personal services also include all aspects of pageant preparation including: stage presentation, interview coaching, hair and make-up training, and professional photography by Clay Spann. We offer custom and special ordering to our clients, and we ship any of our merchandise to our clients through FedEx.

Yes, gown registry is offered for major pageant events.

One-stop pageant shopping. In our store, you will find every item needed to compete on every level of pageantry. We offer shoes, accessories, jewelry, trendy fashion wear, upscale casualwear, swimwear, interview suits, cocktail dresses, prom gowns, and evening gowns by all major designers. Our main focus is providing individual services that are tailored to each customer’s unique needs. Our staff has experience with numerous pageant systems, and we are prepared to provide all the necessary items for the truly competitive contestant.

Customers are reached on a truly personal level. Our customers, whether local or long-distance, become members of our “family.” We learn about our customers’ unique qualities and help them to further strengthen and utilize their gifts.
