“If you’ve got it, flaunt it,” the saying goes, and these six sexy hairdos do exactly that, letting each woman take advantage of her own mane assets.

Whether you are an actual socialite or one at heart, you will never stop searching for that perfect hairstyle. Maybe it’s for a special night, a more updated look for your everyday activities, or a complete change in the color or cut, but whatever the reason, this is the perfect season to step out and get noticed. Don’t fight your natural texture — just learn to enhance what you have. Every girl has something that is simply outstanding.

The look of the 1960s is hot this fall (an updated version, of course). Regina’s coif is very sexy but soft and innocent at the same time. She is a blond bombshell with layers that cuddle her face and highlight her baby blues. The hairdo is achieved by rolling large sections of hair into Velcro rollers while the hair is still damp. Our stylist dried her hair with an “old standby” hairdryer — the kind that goes over your head — until the hair was completely dry. We let the hair cool, removed the rollers, and sprayed lightly before brushing out. Her hair was parted against the natural flow to create the lift of her bangs.

This heavily layered haircut is just right for Laura’s healthy locks and outstanding features. Her thick mane was cut to enhance the fullness and control. Long bangs were razor cut at her cheeks and chin to draw attention to her eyes. We used a large round brush and blow dryer to soften the curl around her face, but kept the flips and curls strong on her shoulders and back. From her chin down, the hair was sprayed immediately after removing the hot rollers and finger-combed for a “touchable, sexy” look.

Karlie is a Jamie Spears look-alike. Her fine, sun-kissed hair is crimped all over with a large waving iron, leaving the crown of the head straight. Our stylist took a large-barrel curling iron to the remaining straight hair and created spiral curls to add softness and control. Her bangs are swept to the opposite side of her cowlick and sprayed. Hair control crème is added to the ends to add bluntness and thickness. We then finger-lifted all of the hair and lightly sprayed for a natural look with a strong hold.

Red is a “Wow!” color this season, and what better way to draw attention to you than a bright red sweater and a fantastic haircut. Marney is batting 1.000 with this look... and this cut is just perfect for the shape of her beautiful face. Her chin-length hair is ever so slightly layered to remove bulk and give the hair bounce. We rolled with large Velcro rollers while the hair was still damp. When it was completely dry, we finger-brushed all the hair off her face and sprayed it. Then we pulled the hair underneath toward the front.

Leslie’s gorgeous straight hair will certainly put her in the “limelight” this fall. Her long layers and subtle streaks are one way to make the “beauty of summer” last a little bit longer. We first parted her hair down the center to draw the eye to her face and bright smile. The razor cut is used at the very ends of her hair in the back and sides, but then is used higher in the front to create a framing illusion. The “summer” highlights are added to brighten and add warmth to this hairstyle. We finished it with a gloss spray to subdue flyaways.

As you can tell by now, bangs are in, and whether they are long, layered, wispy, or side swept, they certainly make a statement. But if you really want that second (third or maybe even a fourth) glance, then Kira’s got the ticket. Her incredibly thick hair is simply brushed into a high ponytail and secured, leaving the front portion of her hair out. We twisted small sections of the remaining hair and cut it just below the eyebrow. A large round brush was used to smooth and add fullness to her newly cut bangs. This look is probably the most striking way to draw attention to the eyes.

CLIP TIPS: GOING FAUX FOR FALL

If you want a totally new look, hair extensions are always an option and all the craze, whether they are woven, glued, or clipped in. The faux lengths can turn a short and flirty cut into a long and sexy coif instantly. Here are four tips to remember when considering hair extensions:
1. Check with your hair designer to decide which extensions will work best for you.
2. Make sure the color is natural and blends well.
3. Human-hair extensions blend better into your own hair.
4. Always brush gently from the bottom of the hair upward.
