I LOOKING ABSOLUTELY FAB Fabrics are a standout and movement is the key. The beautiful flow of chiffon has returned, because the elegant yet almost float- ing appearance of chiffon brings prom dresses to life. It is a per- fectly romantic look. LACE IS IN Look for lace to be a standout feature on many prom dresses, specifically with focus on exquisite cut lace in a variety of colors and silhouettes. Lace will be used all over, as it will be generously and appropriately scattered throughout the dress. A lace overlay can turn the dress into a show stopper. Lace trends vary from vin- tage to high-end designer. RUFFLES ADD RICHES Let’s add a bit of ruffle to the mix. Ruffles are ultra-fem- inine and are used in different silhouettes ranging from ball gowns, high-low, or sheath gowns, because they add the allure of romance or flirty flair.
