NEW DIRECTOR OF
COMMUNICATIONS M
iss America’s Outstanding Teen,
Inc. is pleased to announce the
new addition of Jessica Schueler as the
Director of Communications. Jessica
comes to the organization with a rich his-
tory and knowledge of MAOTeen.
Jessica Schueler is a 2009 graduate of
Concord University with a Bachelor of
Arts in Communications and Public Rela-

tions. Upon graduation, Jessica interned
with MAOTeen and shortly after accepted a position at her alma
mater as an Admissions Counselor. Jessica has attended over 150
college fairs and reached over 10,000 students, and presented to
her colleagues at the WV Association of Collegiate Registrars and
Admissions Officers (WVACRAO) Conference in Snowshoe, WV.
Jessica coordinated the university’s top scholarship program,
“Scholars of Distinction” and co-coordinated the Concord Universi-
ty Student Ambassador Program.
Jessica was selected as the first Miss West Virginia’s Outstand-
ing Teen in 2004. During her year of service she promoted her plat-
form SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) throughout
West Virginia and traveled to Missouri, North Carolina, and Florida
representing the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and Miss Amer-
ica Organization. Jessica also developed the Mentor Princess Pro-
gram in West Virginia and raised over $5,000 in scholarship money
for the Miss West Virginia Scholarship Organization.
Jessica will be responsible for the company’s communications,
publicity and sponsorships and will also launch a quest to increase
the amount of in-kind scholarships offered by colleges and univer-
sities on the national and state levels. Ⅺ

entertainment industry in the Philip-

John is from a small mountain town in Ashe County, NC. He had
just returned from serving with the US Marines in Iraq and volun-
teered as a stage hand for a fashion production. John's agent, Ethel
Smawley, discovered him at this event. Ethel says John Spainhour
will be the super star of this generation.
John Spainhour thanks Carl Dunn and Pageanty magazine for the
Mr. MAAI 2011 Award which provided a stepping stone in his pur-
suit of his career in the entertainment industry. Ⅺ

MISS PENNSYLVANIA TEEN USA STEPS
UP, EMBRACES OPPORTUNITY
R andy Sanders, State Director of the
Miss Pennsylvania USA Pageant, an-
nounced today the appearance duties of
Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012 will be as-
signed to Miss Pennsylvania Teen USA
2012 Julia Belechak.
The position of Miss Pennsylvania USA
2012, which was recently vacated by
Sheena Monnin, will remain vacant and
the appearance responsibilities of Miss
Pennsylvania USA 2012 will now be taken
up by Ms. Belechak, a resident of Cran-

berry Township. Sheena Monnin submit-
ted her resignation of the 2012 Miss Pennsylvania USA title the
morning following the Miss USA telecast.
“We are fortunate to have a wonderful Miss Pennsylvania Teen
USA who has already made several appearances working with char-
ities and organizations and is a strong advocate for bully prevention
and empowering youth to embrace their uniqueness,” Sanders,
president of Sanders & Associates, Inc., the state licensee with the
Miss Universe Organization, explained.
Julia is preparing to compete for her own shot at a national title as
she will travel to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas where she will
join the other 50 state titleholders, including the District of Columbia,
and compete for the title of Miss Teen USA. The Miss Teen USA Pag-
eant will be webcast live on July 28. Ⅺ
